Dame Inga Beale, is a British businesswoman who began her career in 1982 as an underwriter at Prudential Assurance Company in London. During her 38 year career, Inga forged a path in a predominantly male industry, ultimately becoming CEO of Lloyds of London in 2014; the first female to do so in its 326-year history. Leading the global insurance and reinsurance market Inga embedded modernization and cultural change during her tenure and was the first leader to move the company from paper-based to digital.
